Leadership and Building Trust

This short video from the American Veterans Center addresses the importance of gaining the trust of your subordinates. It offers some thoughts about small unit leadership in units where commanders aren't trusted.  Note the panel comments about focusing on taking care of, and listening to your subordinates.  Also note the comment about "having your letter of resignation written" (be willing to sign it, but make sure you are right before you do).  The gentlemen on the right is former Marine Captain Nathaniel Frick author of
